I USED UNIVERSAL BECAUSE MY Fiancé's family used universal for their vehicles and really were impressed with the overall treatment. My sales person, Abi Dorta was very knowledgeable and very honest and trust worthy. I would recommend him to others he really impressed me as a salesmen and as a person.

I am 65 years young! Purchasing a new auto has not been a favorite task of mine during my lifetime. The quality that I have found most lacking in previous auto purchase experiences has been the personal integrity found with the direct salesperson involved. I think that I may have found that personal integrity is not a lost trait when I met and worked with Universal Hyundai salesman John Booth. He demonstrated throughout the sales process that a salesperson with integrity can exist in the retail auto industry. I was also impressed with Jose Rivera - the dealership Finance and Insurance Manager with whom I met. Although I brought my own financing to the transaction - I asked for and he provided me with comparative leasing rates. In the end I decided to proceed with my own financing. I was - however - armed with the data that I needed to make an informed decision.

Brett Livingston changed my view of car salesmen. He never pressured me into buying but was very patient with me in my selection of a crossover vehicle. He proved to be very knowledgeable about the vehicles I test drove and went out of his way to ensure I was pleased. My Review of Universal Hyundai:
I thought I was walking into a boiler room operation when I entered but was pleasantly surprised by the experience. The sales associate was very friendly courteous and professional. New his stuff, tried to interest me in other services but was not high pressure. The F and I manager ditto very knowledgeable and convincing but again no pressure and excellent follow up on his part.
Hopefully future experience with this dealer and its service department will be as positive.
Based on my experience so far I would highly recommend Universal .

My experience was great, the particular dealer I worked with was John Booth. He was very warm and friendly, and completely straightforward about everything. He did his best to help me out in every way possible. I left the dealership very happy with a used Hyundai Accent in excellent condition, for an excellent price. The financing department worked very hard to get me the best deal possible. Even after already approving me for a loan I was happy with, they continued to work to try to find me something better. I would highly recommend this dealership.

I wanted to thank you both for all of your help yesterday.  It made buying the car actually a pleasant experience.  Kevin worked with me over the phone and I feel like I got a fair price for the car.  Adam was VERY helpful and I've never had a more thorough explanation of how a car works.  He programmed our phones into the car, programmed radio stations into XM that I liked, etc.  He answered all our questions and more.  I don't remember the name of the finance manager but he explained things very well and was extremely efficient and FAST.  It was late when we arrived but everyone was still " on their game" even when it was after 10:00 p.m. when we finally drove off in our new car.  Thanks again.  I will be in to see you tomorrow with the rest of the money.

We went looking for a used car.. We were greeted by Ron Thomas. He gave us our options on buying an used care verses a new car. We got a great deal on a new car. Ron even followed us home for the rest of the balance. He explained every detail of the car. We have bought 6 cars in the pass for 4 years at Florida and no one has ever explained how to install the Bluetooth, but of course Ron installed it on our new car and also help us with our Nissan that we bought at Celebrity Nissan. I have purchased a few cars in the past but this was by far, my best experience. They treat you with respect, they are courteous, and they listen. They have a large selection and are very accommodating. I was also impressed by the extras such as soda fountain in the lobby. I felt as though they were willing to go that extra mile for my husband and I. Each and every employee we dealt with was great and I would recommend any one of them.

1.) The sales process was excellent. Abi (our sales associate) is excellent.
Our daughter had purchased a Sonata from Abi and we were extremely pleased with his knowledge, service, etc. Therefore, we immediately called for an appt with Abi when we realized we were in need of another vehicle and will do so again. You are fortunate to have such an excellent sales associate.

My experience was fantastic! No pressure from salesperson, he was very relaxed and easy-going. I was able to purchase a vehicle with no stress! I had already been to Deland Hyundai and the customer service was horrible and I was lied to by the salesperson as to when their car shipment would be arriving. I decided to try Universal and they were great and had the car in stock! I got a better deal at Universal on the same car I liked at Deland but Universal gave me the upgraded package for $20 less a month and a much less APR! Thanks!

I originally went in just to get some pricing ideas. I was greeted Finian (it took me a few attempts to pronounce it right) After that everything was an absolute pleasure.
He really made the buying experience a whole lot less painful than my previous vehicle. I really felt like I made a friend. He didn't rush me at all. He showed me a bunch of cars that fit in my price range. I was originally looking at the basic Elantra but he took me for a test drive in the limited and I was sold. Before I knew it I was signing paperwork and out the door. Oh and did I mention he set up my favorite radio stations, helped me sync my phone for bluetooth and set-up my navigation so I don't get lost driving home (it happens more than I'd like to admit)!!! AWESOME!!!
Any of my friends in the market for a new car will get Finians name and number, I couldn't be happier with my new car and friend!!!

I went to the dealership to look at the Tucson. During the test drive, Abi realized that even though I wanted a small SUV, I was not comfortable driving it. He then suggested I try the Sonata. Was he right! I loved it the moment I started the test drive. Abi could have let me walk out with a car that I was not comfortable with and didn't love because I had an idea of getting a SUV. Instead he took the time to find me the car that was right for me. Great Job! I even got a great a offer on my trade in. This is the second car that I bought from Universal (my husband's Accent is still going strong!). The funny thing is, I ended up at Universal because the salesperson at City Kia did not show much interest in helping me! Proud new owner of the 2012 Hyundai Sonata!

Would definitely recommend this dealership. Have now personally bought 4 cars from Universal Hyundai. Also referred 2 family members who each purchased a car. Outstanding service, relaxed atmosphere, no pressure to buy, and very knowledgeable salespeople.

Raymond Morales, the Internet Manager was my salesman; Jose Rivera was the Finance Mgr. Both exceeded our expectations. Although the dealership was extremely busy, I was greeted at the door and assigned a salesman right away. Raymond was able to answer all my questions about the vehicle and provide comparison information on several different models.

Have been driving a Hyundai since 2001 and would be hard pressed to find a better vehicle.

Abi Dorta, from the minute I first walked in the door was friendly, courteous, Professional and really wanted to help. He immediately escorted me to the auto I wanted to buy. Gave me all the information about the car, and since the car being able to (1) fit in my garage and (2) my wife's approval before a sale could be made, Mr. Dorta set the car up for test driving and accompanied me to my home which was not very far from the dealership. After that Mr. Dorta kept in touch with me at my home to see if he could do anything that would help me decide on the car. He is a wonderful person and he treated me just line an old friend.

Adam is the only car salesman that I have ever dealt with that actually returned phone calls and followed up with me after the purchase. He went way above what I consider good customer service. He was especially helpful in getting a tire issue resolved with my new Genesis. It made my trip from Tampa to Orlando, to make my purchase, well worth the effort and extra miles involved. I would definitely make the trip again to deal with him.

After researching for several weeks on the internet, we decided that the Genesis Coupe was the car for us. The next step was the part we had always dreaded, working with the dealer, however, my wife and I were pleasantly surprised by Universal Hyundai in Orlando. Within 5 minutes of arriving at the dealer, my wife and I felt like our salesman (Abi) was on our side. He asked what we believe to have been the perfect questions in order to assist us on which Coupe model to purchase. We were never pressured or rushed into anything, we felt in control thru the whole process. Everything that was promised by Abi was delivered. Cesar (financing) was a joy to work with as well, once again we felt that a member of Universal Hyundai was on our side.

I have already commented to several friends on not only the awesome car we purchased, but on the outstanding experience and service we received at Universal Hyundai. My 2 sons will be needing cars soon, so we will be talking to Abi real soon.

I bought my car from Universal about a year ago and I love it! Ron Thomas was the sales person who assisted me in choosing the right vehicle for me. I was there for awhile and Ron brought me lunch and made sure I was comfortable throughout the entire process. Cesar Robles assisted me with financing and provided an excellent description of the extended warranty service plan and service maintenance plan. I purchased both and don't regret a thing. I have visited the dealership several times for routine maintenance and everyone remembers me and is extremely friendly. In January 2011 I had a part replaced on my car and my warranty covered everything and even paid for a rental for 2 days! It was awesome! I love Universal Hyundai and Nissan!

I contacted Ray through the internet probably 11/2 months before we actually went in he kept in touch with me even though I was undecided about a purchase . Ray was very polite and informative about the product worked through the process with no pressure towards us which means a lot to us as I had already left two dealerships because of the way we were treated (kIA AND ford ). We were able to work out a deal with the payment we wanted. He had the vehicle detailed and went over everything with us even programming radio and most importantly setting up the Bluetooth with our cell phones which I am not sure I could ever have done on my on . Very friendly from the moment I walked in. Dusty personally went out of his way to make sure I got the exact car I wanted and when I wanted it. Richard was proactive in keeping in contact with us in a search for our highly demanded car. Once our desired car was located, he was quick in getting our trade assessed and finishing the deal. He was very informative and knowledgeable about the vehicle we were buying. He followed up with us after the purchase to ensure our satisfaction. We would be happy to work with him again in the future.

Our only concern during the entire buying process was with the finance portion of the sale. Initially the finance rate quoted was significantly higher than what Hyundai advertised, despite our near perfect credit rating. However, when we questioned why we were not offered the advertised rate, it was then provided to us.

I am very happy with my gray Hyundai Sonata. Abi Dorta was extremely helpful. Car shopping is one of my least favorite things to do - so much so that I lease a car which forces me to get another one before I have to get it fixed. So, the time had come for me to look for another...and I had started going to various dealerships throughout the central Florida area. My visits were the typical car-searching experiences, but when I met Abi at Universal Hyundai, he went out of his way to help me with specifics that I really wanted - informing me of options that no other salesperson had suggested. I had started looking for a car closer to home, and had then progressively moved further and further away. The distance was well worth the find. Thanks to Abi for being so gracious and considerate. All of the people I dealt with in addition to Abi (Felix and the financing person)were a pleasure. So, this time, the ending of my car shopping was a positive experience...making future car buying excursions not a thing to be dreaded, knowing that I will go back to Universal Hyundai and Abi in the future.

This dealer was recommended by USAA and they gave me a very good deal on a V6 but when I asked if they had any deals on the V8 they said of course. I was able to get a V8 for only $190.00 more than V6. They were also able to give me an outstanding interest rate that was so much lower than my preferred bank that I was able to get a 10 year bumper to bumper warranty and it cost me nothing compared to going with my financing from my bank.

They really made shopping fun. I highly recommend them for having the best Genesis prices in the country.

 

I went there with my father on May 17th to service our Hyundai Tuscon. It was proficient service, the staff was very friendly and courteous. They told us it would take 4 hours, where in reality it only took half the time, and also got to get a manicure. We were very pleased with the service both to the vehicle and to us as well. You are doing a wonderful job. Thank you

I went to about 8 different dealerships, and my experience with Hyundai was definitely the best. They found a great balance between making you feel like they actually care about having your business as a customer, while not being too pushy. I started my search at Holler Hyundai, and they were also a pleasure to deal with. However, I ended up actually buying my car at Universal Hyundai because their inventory was larger and they had exactly what I was looking for. Hugo Ortiz, the internet sales manager at Universal Hyundai, was absolutely fantastic. He is just an all-around cool guy to deal with, and he took the time to really explain everything to me in detail -- from all the features of the car, to the entire sales process from start to finish. He even offered to follow me to drop off my rental car just in case Enterprise wasn't able to bring me back. And when it came time to actually sign the paperwork, the price they gave me was actually the price I paid. Naturally there are some additional dealer fees, processing fees, etc. -- but they all seemed very reasonable. Believe me, there were many dealerships where I felt like they were just giving me the price they thought I would pay and seeing how much they could take advantage of me. I really did not feel that way at Universal Hyundai. So I would highly recommend this dealership, and also suggest that you ask for Hugo : )

Was sent to this dealership because of their participation in Zag.com pricing structure. Got a firm email quote IN ADVANCE of getting to the showroom - cash deal, no trade. Internet sales rep confirmed the quoted price and my wife inquired about other vehicles with higher options - got an even better price than my research indicated! No hassles from sales, then went to F&I (Finance and Insurance) to close the cash deal. Normal offers of extended warranties, etc were turned down with no pressure. However, I was offered exceptional 0.9% financing based upon my credit score which I accepted (almost free money!). Once each person in the chain knew that I was a serious and knowledgeable buyer, there was nothing but excellent interaction with no problems. I was actually treated like a family member with frank discussions of the business of car sales and suggestions that were designed to help me rather than hokey sales tactics to take me! Go in with the idea of being a prepared consumer and you will reap the benefits!

Hugo was very friendly, knowledgeable and accommodating during our driving test and the negotiating process. This dealership lacked the 'snakeoil salesman' feel, which I appreciated. However, I would have liked to drive a harder bargain regarding the vehicle price, but had to stop short, because the Elantra is in such high demand at the moment that further cost lowering attempts on my part would have resulted in a breakdown of the negotiations and somebody else would be calling herself the owner of the red, four-wheeled beauty sitting in our garage today. Unfortunately that's just the luck of the draw if you have your mind set on this particular vehicle at this point in time.

As for the finance person, "ED", he was very deceitful, we came in pre approved by OUR bank and requested that he fax the purchase order to our bank rep. which he refused to do saying that he does through the bank this way all the time; BUT his way cut our pre approval and local bank and rep. out of the loan credit while "ED" mislead us into thinking the loan was going to our bank as we requested.

Salesman Axel Machin showed us were to go view the Elantra and didn't bug us, he let us take our time. We really appreciated the space. Bob took his time with me. He answered ALL my questions. I told him that I was not really sure of what brand or where I was going to purchase a vehicle. That in visiting other dealers, I had narrowed it down from twelve models to three. He did not put any pressure on me to decide on Hyundai or his dealership. He offered to let me sit in, look and test drive the ones I chose. We took three test drives in two Accents and one Elantra. I chose a Blue Accent. The closing of the deal went very smoothly.

Bob was wonderful from the moment we came to the property! He was not overbearing in any aspect. We appreciated the fact that he was easy going, yet was extremely thorough in his explanation of the vehicle. I have never had a salesman explain everything in the manner that he did. Even after the purchase was finalized, he continued to make sure that we understood everything about the vehicle. My husband and I felt we got a very good deal on the new vehicle we purchase! I am very pleased with the purchase of my mew 2011 Hyundai Sonota, the salesman Teodoro Seminaro was and is very knowledgeable about the vehicle, I myself would rate the salesman with a 5 which is excellent. The type of caliber of person Mr. Seminaro is, has definitely been demonstrated from the time my husband and I walked into the dealership until the time that we took delivery. Mr. Seminaro gave us a very detailed walk around the dealership and introduced us to everyone from the parts department to the service department. He made sure that we knew where every department was in the dealership, I feel he made sure that all of our questions were answered and that when we left, My husband and I feel that all of our questions were answered. Mr. Seminaro also made three follow-up calls to us to make sure that everything was fine and to make sure we were completely satisfied. I also feel that I need to mention the Sales Manager and Finance Manager; both gentlemen were very helpful and explained all documents that were involved in the sales process. I feel Universal Hyundai has a wonderful staff that definitely meets all of the clients needs. I will definitely be purchasing all of my vehicles in the future from Universal Hyundai.

We were looking for a replacement car for my wife's Cadillac STS, and after looking over a Genesis that we saw in a parking lot, decided to visit Universal to take a closer look at a new one. We were greeted by Michael Pizza, and were told that he was on his third day as a Hyundai salesman. He was a personable and helpful representative, and after looking over the Genesis line that were in stock, we took one for a test and were impressed with the vehicle's ride and handling. We sat down to negotiate a sales price on the V-8 Genesis we had test driven, but reached a stalemate. Felix entered the picture, and told us they had just received a V-6 Genesis that had all the options of the V-8, same exterior and interior colors, that we could have at our price point. We agreed, and then went into the office of Jose Rivera to sign the papers. Jose took the time to explain the options of leasing versus purchase, extended warranty offerings, etc. We had planned to pay cash for the car, and had already written a check, but Jose said we could finance the car for three years at zero interest, so we decided to finance the car and purchase a Platinum extended warranty with the money saved on interest. We picked up our new Genesis the next day, it was ready at the promised time, and Michael Pizza spent quite a bit of time to explain operation of the vehicle and options that were on it. Buying a car can be a very trying experience, but our experience at Universal Hyundai turned out to be quite pleasant, and we never felt any undue pressure to make a deal.

This dealership is great-- terrific customer service, speedy processing (w/o making you feel rushed), very attentive, etc. Adam is a rock star! He has sold 2 cars (2011 Santa Fe and Elantra) to my family and he's the only person we ever need to talk. We highly recommend him!

I went to the dealership with one car in mind, and after Adam talked to me he recommended I go with the Elantra--and for good reason too. Adam truly wanted me to have the best car for myself. He was upfront and honest about the +/- of each car I was interested in and he gave me a terrific deal with the car I ultimately chose. They were flexible with the price negotiations. I ended up financing through the dealership with a good rate.

The whole process took a few hours and I walked out of there feeling very good about the purchase and the whole customer service experience.

You won't go wrong with Adam Karlski or the rest of the folks at Universal Hyundai!

I am 72 years old and have purchased 12 new vehicles in my lifetime. This has by far been the most enjoyable, hassle free new car purchase I have ever made. The price was agreed upon before I even came to the dealership. Upon completion of the purchase the price was as agreed upon to the penny no ups or downs or hidden fees or ad dons. I rode my bicycle to an agreed upon pickup point and the salesman delivered the vehicle to me there. Great experience.

I had really great experience from day one. This dealer has raised the bar when it comes to customer service. I would definitely recommend this dealer to other prospects in the market for a new or newer car. Hugo Ortiz made this scary process for me a breeze. I wouldn't request anyone else, not that the others aren't good, I personally was truly satisfied with his attention to detail and his drive to ensure that I got what I wanted and nothing less or more. Cesar Robles did a wonderful job as well, when it comes to the financial aspect of this experience. I was very impressed with his honesty and his willingness to make sure that I was being treated fairly as a new first time car buyer. As a recent college graduate this was a very big move for me and my future. I felt an ease throughout the process thanks to him. Richard Harris is the Internet Sales Manager. I contacted several dealerships on Monday morning regarding a 2011 Hyundai Elantra Limited. He was the first to respond. He had two in stock, and was great in explaining the cars he had. I came to the dealership a few hours later. Richard gave us the most in-depth review of the car, and let us test drive the car. After we made a deal, he helped us set everything up - including syncing our iPhones to the Bluetooth, and gave us a full overview of everything the car had to offer. I would do business with Universal Hyundai (and especially Richard) any day. The entire process was much better than any previous car purchase I have had.

I found a nice 2008 Toyota Corolla on cars.com with a great price, I went to Universal Hyundai and someone else was there trying to buy it. At first I did not believe them until I saw the customer, she bought the car and I was offered to look at a 2009 Certified Hyundai Sonata. On March 9, 2011 I went to Universal Hyundai with my son, Kevin N. to co-sign his first vehicle purchase. As soon as I parked my vehicle a Sales Consultant offered me assistance. His name is Jose Cepeda. He was a handsome and gentle guy and oriented my son and I about the car we desired. I told Mr. Cepeda the models of the vehicle we were interested in, as well as the conditions to qualify for the payments. Rapidly he and Mr. Felix Matos, the Desk Manager, showed us a 2007 Hyundai Tiburon Special Edition as well as a few other vehicles. Immediately my son fell in love with the Tiburon. Jose and Mr. Felix Matos consulted both of us about the financing procedures. My son and I were very pleased with the attention that we received we decided to purchase the 2007 Hyundai Tiburon Special Edition.

 

I felt so happy for the kind of experience we had with Mr. Jose Cepeda that I decided to purchase another vehicle for myself. On March 12, 2011 I went back to Universal Hyundai and dealt with Jose again. He drove me to view the vehicles in an exhibition at McCoy where they were hosting a bank event and explained the process of leasing. Again Jose consulted with Mr. Felix Matos and he gently gave me all the information about having an opportunity to qualify and monthly payments. I decided to buy a 2010 Toyota Corolla.

 

For the time I spent waiting at the Dealer, Mr. Cepeda offered me food and beverage. Giving me the consideration and awesome treatment I noticed that he did the same for all the other clients as well.

 

To summarize, all the employees at Universal Hyundai gave me an excellent service. For that reason I will refer anyone I know with the intention to purchase to your Dealer. Finally, I consider that Mr. Cepeda should be, not only the Employee of the Month, but the Best Employee of the Month for Universal Hyundai.
