2012 Hyundai Accent Orlando FL

The 2012 Hyundai Accent is a vast improvement over the Accents of years past. Improved gas mileage, appearance, and performance make the 2012 Accent a more appealing car for all, not just for those who can't afford anything else.

2012 Accents are completely redesigned, inside and out. The reformed 1.6 liter, four cylinder engines have better compression than the 2011 models, and offer 138 horsepower and 123 pound-feet of torque. Even with the improved engine performance, gas mileage has not suffered; the 2012 Accent is rated at 30 MPG city/40 MPG highway. This rating is the same for the six-speed manual and six-speed automatic transmissions, and is nearly a 20% improvement over the old manual transmission.

Additionally, automatic transmission Accent models will come standard with an Active Eco system, which is designed to adjust powertrain control for optimal fuel savings. The fuel economy of all 2012 Accents is considered to be superior to subcompact cars from other manufacturers.

The interior of all 2012 Accent models is roomy, though the hatchback GS and SE models offer a larger amount of cargo space. A 60/40 rear seat split allows the owner to carry cumbersome items with little difficulty. The hatchback models now also feature five doors instead of three, making it easier for passengers to enter and leave the vehicle. Numerous storage sections inside the SE model, including a sliding armrest storage space and sunglasses compartment overhead, make it easier for the driver to keep necessities close at hand. Another bonus for drivers is the steering wheel-mounted controls available with the premium package; the package includes easy-to-adjust cruise control buttons and stereo controls. A Bluetooth hands-free phone system integrated into the steering wheel completes the design, and means the driver's hands should never need to leave the wheel. Comfortable cloth upholstery and widely adjustable seats make the 2012 Accent comfortable for drivers of all heights. Safety has not been compromised with the changes to the Accent. Front side-impact airbags, front head airbags, and front and rear side-curtain airbags are standard on all Accent models. Also standard on all models are systems for monitoring tire pressure, traction control, electronic stability, and overall vehicle stability.

The exterior of the 2012 Hyundai accent offers attractive bonuses for buyers. The Accent hatchbacks have an increased wheelbase by 2.8 inches; this longer design makes it comfortable for even the tallest passengers to sit in the backseat. The SE hatchback comes standard with 16-inch alloy wheels and a rear spoiler. The GLS sedan has been redesigned with a smoother appearance in the front and the rear, and offers 16-inch alloy wheels as an option. Four wheel disc brakes are standard on all Accent models, meaning easier brake swaps for the do-it-yourselfer. Fog lights come standard on the SE hatchback and are optional on the GLS.

All 2012 Hyundai Accents come with the familiar Hyundai warranty: five years or 60,000 miles overall limited warranty, ten years or 100,000 miles powertrain limited warranty, 24-hour roadside assistance for five years, and a seven year anti-perforation warranty. The 2012 Accent MSRP ranges from $14,195 for the base model GLS to $15,795 for the base model SE.
